Can’t play old videos on iPhone 12 pro Max

I used to have an iPhone X. Now I have an iPhone 12 pro Max and I can’t play my videos because there’s a legend that says “an error occurred while loading a higher quality version of this video”.

How can I fix this?

I have the most annoying answer to this. Power off your phone and turn it back on. It fixed mine.

I had the same problem...I just pressed the edit button on one of the videos and then cancelled it and it made the videos start playing..I guess it’s just a bug or something.
