iPhone 12 pro/ pro max delivery

Im wondering if anyone has had any experience with getting an iPhone 12 pro or pro max delivered from Apple.com. I’m wondering roughly how long the process has been for you. I ordered my iPhone 12 pro max 128gb silver on December 6,th which finished processing and went into preparing to ship on December 9th, and is still in preparing to ship. The delivery date is “by December 30th”. Can I expect it any sooner?

As someone who purchased an iPhone 12 and many iPhones in the past, IME when Apple give you a delivery date, it’s basically always spot on.

I was told my iPhone 12 would arrive November 5th weeks in advance, and it did.

The iPhone 12 Pro is in huge demand at the moment, this plus the fact that we’re in the middle of a pandemic, means longer wait times are to be expected.

If Apple says it’ll be here on December 30th, chances are it will. Generally they give you detailed tracking info from your respective courier so keep checking.

Apple wants to you to get your new phone just as much as you do, from what I’ve seen you just need to be patient.

Generally the date provided is the date it will arrive. That’s how it always worked for me personally.

If you go to the tracking section on Apple’s website it should redirect you to the courier (usually ups) where you can see exactly where your device is and its scheduled arrival.

And yes as far as I know you do need to be at home when it arrives as a product this expensive requires a signature or verbal confirmation. If nobody is home they will leave a calling card with which you can use to contact the carrier and arrange an alternate delivery date.
