Charging the IPhone 12 Mini

As you’re aware the iPhone 12 Mini doesn’t ship with a charging brick.

And since everyone had iPhones and other  products at home, I’ve been using the 12 W iPad charger for charging my phone.

I also have the MacBook Pro so the type C to lightening cable that comes with iPhone 12 Mini is very handy to connect the MacBook with the iPhone.

Now my question is - For fast charging -

Shall I buy the 20 W brick or shall I use the 61W brick for fast charging the iPhone Mini.

Also - Will 61 W charge faster ?

And - Will the 61 W charger have any adverse effect on the phone ?

A 20 W charger costs Rs 1900 in India ( $26). So if it’s not going to harm or shorten the lifespan of my phone then I can simply skip the 20W charger and use my 61W.

Please suggest.

Thankyou so much for your response.

Surprisingly, the place where I picked up my 12 Mini ( an authorised third party seller) said it wasn’t a good idea to charge with the 61 W charger. And that is what kept me from charging it with my 61W brick.

My assumption is he was trying to sell me the 20W charger.
