See this support article and follow ALL the steps provided in it:--> If your iPhone or iPod touch won't charge - Apple Support

If the issue still persists, make an appointment and have your iPhone 8 inspected at an Apple Store or Authorized Service Provider among this list:--> Apple – Location Selector
