Iphone 12 and BMW 5 Series 2009 Bluetooth

I suggest that you remove the iPhone from the vehicle's listing and turn off the vehicle. Then remove the vehicle from the iPhone's listing, turn off Bluetooth and then power the phone off and back on again. Start the car, then put the radio into discovery/pairing mode. Open the iPhone, turn on Bluetooth and follow the screen prompts to connect to the car. Sometimes new phones can confuse vehicles if you have had a phone paired to them in the past. This can especially be true if you restored the new phone from a backup of the old phone and it has the same name on the phone as before.

Anything is possible, just as much as there is a problem with the Bluetooth profile in the vehicle. I suggest you use the Contact Support link at the top of the page here to contact Apple Support, and also take time to contact your dealer to see if there is a software update for your BMW to ensure it is compatible with iOS 14.3.
