Is it possible to connect iPad 4 to a thunderbolt dock? If not what is the best way to use iPad like a desktop by connecting to monitor and keyboard?

Hello PK241,

We can understand you wanting to use your iPad Air 4 as a desktop by connecting a monitor and keyboard to it.

You'll find how you can connect and iPad to an external display with a cable, and the adapters you can use, in this article: Connect iPad to a TV, projector, or monitor with a cable.

To use a physical keyboard with your iPad you'll want to follow the appropriate set of steps:

For Apple brand keyboards - Apple external keyboards for iPad

For third-party Bluetooth keyboards - Pair a third-party Bluetooth accessory with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Let us know if you have any additional questions about that information

Have a great day!
