Apple Watch Random Reboots / Resprings
I am frustrated. I have had a series 4, then 5, and now 6 and I have having the SAME issue. My watch not only randomly reboots, but it seems to be progressive and gets so bad that all it does is shows the apple logo and drains the battery. I have sent them to apple who says nothing is wrong with them. I finally made a little headway, Apple told me since I use itunes to back up my phone and it is encrypted they think an old app may be causing the issue. Their recommendation was completely erase your cell phone (I am not sure how easy it is for others to just wipe their phone and start from scratch, but these have our lives, photos, remotes for everything from the car, doorbells, lights, work emails accounts). So they are saying spend a couple days resetting your entire life... huge inconvenience. But when I did that and only installed apps back from the cloud it seemed to fix the issue. So I was happy, then I went ahead and got my ipone upgrade, and decided to buy a new watch. So I just did a restore on my iphone 12 pro max through itunes because I figured it was a fresh clean install I just did of the one by one installing of all the apps. But when I hooked up my brand new 6 out of the box it was rebooting in a matter of minutes and nothing but apple logos. So the past 2 days I have been once again erasing my entire iphone 12 pro max and putting apps on one at a time. But today I noticed the watch still rebooted 2x while I sat there and watched. Usually when I clear notifications. I am Franky fed up. Apple stuff used to just work, you never had to do all of this stuff to try to figure out what is wrong. And to be honest these are ALL apples products, iphone, itunes, watch, and it approves ALL the apps in its echosystem, so this is really on apple to figure out. I am going to see how my watch does and if it starts rebooting again, then I guess I will try to put it or the iphone on beta software to see if that fixes anything. I forgot to mention I have a cellular version of the watch with verizon in case somehow that matters. I even went into the watch and deleted most of the apps it installed from my iphone, I am just sick of trouble shooting this. It is a brand new phone, brand new watch, and I didn't restore it just installed apps from the cloud... I. Give. Up. Ready to switchs from apple.
