Moving clips between projects?

I would think this would be simple, but I can't figure it out...

I have a couple of hour-long videos that I have divided up, on the timeline, into the clips that I want to use. I need to use the same edited clips in several different projects (both trailers and movies.) I can't find a way to move or copy the clips between projects- only the original hour-long videos. I don't want to have to re-edit the hour-long videos several times to get the clips I need. Is there a way to do this that I am missing?
