Control Centre Needs to be Updated

I have just upgraded my 2020 MacBook Pro to run Big Sur. Since doing so, my Control Centre now says "Control Centre needs to be updated" and that I should contact the developer of the software. Isn't that Apple? I cant Airdrop from one Apple device to another anymore, which I could do when I was running Catalina. Maybe I have old software running on this device but I am not sure what it is or how to remove it.

Yes. Turns out that my other device was not updated. When I updated it, I was able to Airdrop from my Macbook. Thanks for your response Lanny.
