Built In Speakers just does not appear in output devices anymore.

Why can't I use my sound and how do I get it back without having to take it to the technicians and them charging me for this.

Try Resetting the SMC and your NVRAM:

Sometimes when changes are made to the system(updates), system configurations (i.e. for Sound) become manipulated, technically. So, reset the SMC and NVRAM. It might take upto 3 attempts to reset each. So, be certain you have the time to so do.
