Lost Apple TV remote loop tie part

I lost my apple tv remote loop tie part and saw everyone recomended buy a new one and i found a quick solution about it. 6.4mm heat shirink pipe cut 0.6mm length and heat little bit. It will be looks like new.

question is why there is no spare part for this band?

how to pair an aluminum remote-? I lost my orginal aluminum remote-- ordered one online-- and i cant get it to pair with my apple TV gen 2 or 3 -- ( I dont know the difference). It will make the apple TV light blink... but nothing happens, Please help--

Apple TV 4th generation remote replacement I dropped my remote in soup and it's no longer working. How do I replace it? I can only find 3rd generation on the apple site and my Apple TV is 4th generation. There are cheap ones on Amazon and $97 at Best Buy. Any suggestions for best place to get a new one?
