I ordered a Mac Air laptop on December 3rd and its December 12th now and it is still in processing. Did I do something wrong such as type the wrong card number down for the payment because I haven't seen the money come out of my account either.

That sounds normal. It will stay in the Processing stage until right before it ships and they don't charge your credit card until right before it ships. An estimated delivery date is given when you place the order (and just before you place the order).
