How to add a URL link to a video made in iMovie

Hi there, I have a mid 2012 MacBook Pro, running on Mojave, and my current iMovie does not support adding URL links when I create a video. I know that you can do this if you have QuickTime Pro, but Apple does not sell it anymore and I can't find it anywhere. Any ideas on how can I sort this out? Thanks a lot in advance for your help!

Hi, tommaso128,

You are right that iMovie does not support embedding URL links. I know that you can do it with You Tube. Upload your movie to You Tube. Click Share and then Embed, and follow the screen.

For more detailed instructions you can Google You Tube Embed. Other video sites, like maybe Vimeo and Instagram possibly have a similar embed feature.
