My iPhone 12 churching cord does not plug into a USB port
My iPhone 12 came with a cable that is not usb. And no box. I cannot use it is this correct no usb cable

The cable is a Lightning to USB-C cable. If you have a cable and power adapter from a previous phone you can use those.
