Is there such a program? Mine is getting really large and I want to clear them and leave the ones i want to. I have seen programs that you can download and export as jpegs and excel sheets..

I want to clean my message vault but still have them to review.

I don't think PhoneView does any deleting. I usually create my PDF and record the date when I did created the PDF in the name. Then, I delete the messages on my phone.

Lyssa, this looks great. Would you know that if I delete messages from my phone after doing archiving the first time will it also delete them from my archive next time i archive? Or will it update the new messages only?

Check iMazing. Can export in regular PDF/TXT/CSV/etc., but also has incremental backups, which means you can basically just have a backup with those messages and search that you are looking for without extra space used (guide if interested, for export but gives understanding of options). I would still export a copy of that backup to an external drive for safety, as any other important info (app has an option to do that in basically 2 clicks).
