Apple 40mm Watch
I bought my son this 40 mm apple watch for his birthday and apple does not sell a 9 inch band So upset to pay all that money for something he cant use
Why not just return it - then it's not very expensive any more.

It looks like you are correct, I can’t find 9” wrist in the bands for the 40mm case. You would have more success with the 44mm case which has XL bands in some types and colors, I found listing at least for the 44mm Black Sport Band.
If you are still within Apple’s 14 day return window you can probably return/upgrade to the 44mm and get a band to fit. The 44mm case is probably going to look better on such a large wrist anyway.
My son opened it and even started to set it up before he realized it did not fit We are working with Costco to hope the take it back. So crazy that they have an extra large band for the 42 mm but not the 40 mm I was willing to buy another band from apple But they dont make one
you must spend the extra money for the 42 mm Watch if you want to be able to get an extra large band
I sent this for my sons birthday out of state. He wanted one because he is busy and thought it would be a helpful gadget. He has wasted hours and has not even stood in line at costco yet to try to return it. He works 80 hours a week and i am so sad to have caused him wasted time as a birthday gift
this is the kind of time wasting nonsense that makes me go elsewhere. I should be able to buy an extra large band from apple. It should not be this hard and makes you know there are a dozen other stupid things like this waiting to happen With the product
