My fitness app shows a down trend of 15min/mile, yet I’ve been running almost daily for the last 3 months with an average pace of 8min/mile and the same app shows that. I am not sure how it calculates the trend. Anyone knows? Thank you!

why the fitness app shows a downward trend with a 15min/mile pace when I have running daily with an average pace of 8min/mile?

I’m having the same problem. My runs show up correctly - correct pace, distance, etc. I’ve been consistently getting faster, but the trend has a down arrow and says my pace is a 17:08mm. That’s bonkers. I am obviously getting faster, not slower. When I click the Trend it shows completely inaccurate paces for my runs. Where is the trend getting its data? It bears no relation to reality. I’ve never logged a single run at 17:08mm, much less multiple runs getting slower.
