yesterday I dropped my iPhone 12 pro max in the toilet. There are no visual signs of damage. But when i play a sound or call someone the microphone next to the front can cracks what am I suppose to do?

Mine too for 10minutes immediately got rice and container and buried for a day all the while still receiving calls and text. iPhone 11 working great !

Water damage cannot be repaired. Take it to an Apple store for a possible discounted replacement phone.
If you took out Applecare+ then file a claim
By all means try to let it dry out, better than $700, but you need to at least take out the SIM tray -it has a hole in it
Rice is no better than fresh air and it gets stuck in the holes
