AirPods serial number mismatch

I just bought some Airpods online and the Serial # on the actual AirPods is different from the serial# on the box and charging case

Airpods pro different serial numbers My airpods pro case and package have the same serial number but my airpods have a different serial number. The left and right airpods both have different serial numbers from each other.

Yes, that how it's supposed to be.

Serial number on the case is the one used for warranty coverage.
