Hi, recently the option to share photos via whatsapp has disappeared. It appears when trying to share a word document, but not a pdf, or a photo. Itās also not in the list of options to add.
im able to share a photo while in the whatsapp app, but not while in the photos app.
Iāve tried deleting and reinstalling whatsapp but nothing seems to have changed

I see some of these post are from a while ago but this just happen to me this morning - canāt send a photo from actions only from the WhatsApp app - will do a hard close amd try that but will not reset phone just to get option back

WoW thatās annoying, I donāt fancy reinstalling my phone either! Maybe another iOS update will fix things. We can only hope. Unfortunately every iOS update I do seems to cause more problems than it solves!
This happened out of the blue today. I have tried switching off the phone and several of the fixes suggested here, but nothing has worked. This is very frustrating and I have now wasted an hour messing about.

ive just tried a reboot of the phone and that has fixed it (for now)

I have the same issues it is driving me nuts. You can still share through WhatsApp but not from the photoroll.
On the forum is saw the same issue appeared in April. Resolve was reinstall phone. Not going to do that
Restarted my phone multiple times (iPhone 11 Pro, iOS 14.6), still can share the photos only from WhatsAPp, not the camera roll
Same phone (11pro), same problem.
fix that worked for me was within WhatsApp settings.
Open WhatsApp Settings from the app. Go to Settings > Account > Privacy > Screen lock. When Screen Lock is enabled, it disables the WhatsApp Share Sheet.
I forget to mention, that this is hapening with all the aplication that can share via message, including ms teams.

i was signed in on whatsapp web. As soon as i did a logout from the phone, whatsapp appeared again in āShareā.
I have the same problem, the only temporary solution I found its to power off and on the iphone, but it happen again after some time.
Same issue here now August 2021. My iPhone has just started failing to send photos from the camera roll via WhatsApp. MOST annoying. Actually it will let me send one but not select multiple like it did before. š”
It just happened to me to , but after updating WhatsApp so I think itās WhatsApp update that is preventing to do so . please Apple help , very annoying
