Will fitness + work on iPad Pro?

Unable to load fitness app on iPad Pro...says “app requires specific features not available on this device”. I have loaded IPad OS 14.3....

There appears to be an issue currently not allowing the Fitness App to be downloaded to an iPad at this time even if all the requirements are met. May need to wait a while, until Apple fixes the issue.

Do you have an Apple Watch series 3 or later, paired to an iPhone using the same Apple ID as the iPad?

Thanks for the reply. I do have an Apple Watch 4 paired with my 12 max iPhone. I see the fitness + on my phone- no problem, but my iPad does not allow me to download the fitness app.

Also just updated the watch to watchOS 7.2
