What is the point of mac mini

The point of the Mac Mini is the PRICE. You can get into the Mac ecosystem for $699.00. Price and the fact that some people don't like the all-in-one concept of the iMac and don't want a laptop. They want a desktop computer they can equip with a monitor of their choosing.

If much newer, it will work with different devices, than other, much older, Macs. Being mobile, its a great item to use, if you do not have the physical space for a large computer, yet you need to use highland software. If you need to play DVDs on it, then use an Apple USB SuperDrive.

Mac minis are one of my favorite Macs. The new M1 runs better than most other computers on the market. Mac minis are VERY flexible and can be used for many things like a media computer or a recording studio.

It makes for one heck of a creative machine. Visual arts or music, high end apps run really fast on the new M1. I use the M1 for video creation using FCP. It’s great.
