iPhone 12 mini Qi Charging Not Working

If you also feel disappointed about being forced to either use Apple’s MagSafe charger or go back to wired charging please add a comment so Apple is aware that this is a widespread issue.

I contacted support and they recommended that I should have tested my Qi charger with the 12 mini before purchasing - a suggestion offered after providing a screenshot of Apple’s 12 mini specs (where Apple claims Qi compatibility). I believe the suggestion that we should have to test each of our Qi chargers before purchasing is ridiculous. I do not use an off-brand Qi charger; it is Anker. Maybe Apple should have tested several of the most popular third-party Qi chargers before releasing the phone & claiming Qi compatibility? Or provided a warning that some Qi chargers will not work?

I would like Apple to provide a free MagSafe charger to all users affected by this issue if it cannot be resolved through a software update.
