Can't access Fitness+ on my iPad

I just installed iPadOS 14.3 on my iPad Pro 10.5 inch and I can't download the Fitness app on my iPad. It doesn't show up when I search it on the App Store and when I use the links on Safari, it says that this app isn't available in my region on the App Store but I live in Australia and it should be available, right?

Please help!!

iPad Pro 10.5-inch, Wi-Fi

You need more that just the app.

Your iPad needs to be updated to the latest iPadOS 14.3

You need a compatible Apple Watch ( series 3 or later ) updated to its latest WatchOS version and, also, Bluetooth connected to your iPad before the iOS App Store will let you download/install the Apple Fitness+ app.

You need to have or purchase an Apple Watch series 3, or later.

No options.

I had a similar issue but ultimately resolved it. In my case we were talking about a family subscription to Fitness+. While Fitness+ was able to load right away on the Apple TV and was available on our iPhones, we were unable to load it on our iPads. I then set up my wife and daughters Apple Watch Series 5 and at that point their iPads were able to download and install Apple Fitness+. As I am still only on Apple Watch Series 2 (not compatible) I could not load it on my iPad Pro 10.5. So as an experiment, I unpaired my wife's Apple Watch Series 5 from her account and paired it to my account. Bingo - I could now install it on my iPad. I was then able to un-pair re-pair it the watch to my wife's account.

When we are talking about family sharing then the requirements should be more specific. Each Apple device associated with a particular Apple ID needs to have an eligible Apple Watch associated with it in order to install the app on an iPad.

Yah, well aware of the requirements. Doesn’t change that the app can not be even downloaded on an iPad Pro 10.5 w/iPadOS 14.3 But just for reference here, trying to use it with Apple Watch Series 5 w/WatchOS 7.2. The watch works find with iPhone XS with 14.3 on it.

We also have a iPad Pro 11, that it works fine on and an iPad Air 2 that it works fine on. Just this one device which is attached to the one user in our house that wants to use it on their iPad Pro 10.5.

I have an iPad Pro 10.5-inch with iPadOS 14.3. When I try to install Fitness from the App Store I get a message saying "This app requires specific features not available on this device". Very odd as they state all Pro models should work "For usage with iPad, Fitness+ requires iPad Pro, iPad (5th generation or later), iPad mini 4 or later, iPad Air 2, or iPad Air (3rd generation or later), running iOS 14.3." Noting this seems to be an issue across the board as reported by 9to5 Mac - https://9to5mac.com/2020/12/14/apple-fitness-plus-ipad-error/
