Hi, I got a new Iphone and returning my old iphone. Do I have to remove sim card from the old phone?

It can never hurt to do that.


If you purchased a carrier-specific model of iPhone, it will come with a SIM card inside. If that SIM was already activated then you would have no need for the old one. But you can always hold onto it just in case.
