Hi Sravankra - thanks for the reply. I have also had two sessions with MS Tech support today. The first discovered that the last Windows upgrade had crashed a few times so we reinstalled that, hoping it would solve the photos upload problem. It didn't. So later I spoke again to MS Tech Support who indicated that this issue is currently with the S/w developers to solve.
I have followed the items you kindly suggested in the past but it seems the issue might be a bit wider.
