Recover Photos and Videos from Auto Delete Old Conversations Enabled

Hello Community - Before I completely understood the result, I Enabled 'Auto Delete Old Conversations' and lost some Photos and Videos that were evidently imbedded in messages/conversations on my iPad. I know I should have asked this community BEFORE I enabled this but . . . Is there ANY way to recover those old message conversations and associated photos and videos? I thought for sure they'd be in my iCloud Photos but I'm not finding the ones I'm trying to find.

Please say yes...
