iPhone 12 pro max issue with snapchat

I am having the same issue on my 12 pro max. It’s only Snapchat. And I just waited for an update too and it’s still having some issues. When connected to my wifi (usually), it will open to the camera menu and just sit there until it freezes and crashes nearly every time I open the app. If I swipe to a different menu immediately opening the app, it goes to that screen and then freezes. Sometimes it will work and navigate all the screens on and off wifi but either way... it’s still been crashing. It says I could try factory resetting/restoring my phone but I don’t want to do that if it’s just an update issue. This issue has been happening for like a week now
