Apple TV Gen 4: seeing bright blue border around menu objects on home screen

Lately, I’m seeing a bright blue border around some menu objects and UI rounded rect regions in home screen. Also seeing a gray overlay image of scroll bar appearing, and frequently seeing gray outlined image of the Apple TV remote appear while using the remote device for thumb navigation. Functionality of the remote (navigation, selection, drag-drop) remains unaffected. The remote has a full battery charge. I tried unplugging the Apple TV device power for several minutes, then restoring power. The images described above reappear upon restart. I’ve been consistently using a Samsung 32” TV connected via HDMI1 port to Apple TV for past 2-3 years without any such artifacts. The artifacts disappear while viewing content of apps (news, Photos, Music, movies). All cabling was checked for tight connection fit. All devices disconnected and reconnected during testing. No lightning strikes nor recent power failures were observed.

Any assistance or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, WP
