When playing games with magic keyboard on iPad it seems like it doubles the length of a keystroke

I found a few games, with the help of YouTube, that support keyboards during game play on the iPad. The games are great! Although, what i have noticed they all share one thing! Even if i simply tap and quickly release (literally a fraction of a second), it acts as if i had help the key for a full second for gameplay purposes; Such as moving, shooting, navigating menu selections, etc.. it is defiantly a re-occurring thing in all games that i have tested. Additionally i noticed in at least on game it does not let me use two separate keys at once. Most notably crouching and moving.
