imessage activation error
I am getting imessage/facetime activation error. tried every step recommended by apple help but that didnt help.
Go to your carrier and get a new sim. It worked great

is this the support article you were following?
If you get an error when trying to activate iMessage or FaceTime - Apple Support
If so, note the section that says 'if still not activated...'

yes, I followed the same article from apple support but it didn't help.
Spoke to my carrier and they state that my international sms which is required for imessage activation are activated and there is no error from their end.
alright, then the last step.. which was contact Apple support --> Contact - Official Apple Support
