Are the watch faces and colors the same on the different exterior color options of the apple watch?
Can't tell if the silver and gold exterior might have a white screen and the dark aluminum have a black screen.

Yes, the external colors and materials have no direct relation to the actual screen color or watch face.
The screen colors are based on the selected Watch face and complication.
That is to say a Gold Aluminum watch will have access to the same watch faces as a silver or space gray aluminum, stainless steel or titanium watch.
The only exception to this are the Nike and Hermes editions which have access to their own exclusive watch faces not available on other watch editions.
