Microsoft Outlook recurring appointments in MacOS Calendar app
hello. wondering if this issue is normal behavior or a bug. I have been using the MacOS mail and calendar apps for years but recently am having an issue when I get changes to recurring appointments from an organization I belong to that uses Exchange Online/Office365. When I get the recurring appointment I am able to accept it fine. The problem occurs when I get an email that has a change to one of the recurring appointments, which is usually a cancellation. What happens is that you click the .ics attachment from the email notifying you of the cancellation and you are just brought to the first appt in the series in the calendar. It does not ask you to do anything. It's as if the calendar app does not know how to read any other date except the first date in the series. Same thing happens using the iOS mail and calendar apps. Any ideas? Thanks so much for any help - Joe
