Apple wireless charging device

I have a protective clear Piccadilly gear4 drop protection case on my iPhone 12. Will the Apple wireless charger function as developed and successfully charge my iPhone, without removing the case?

The MagSafe won't but any Qi compatible wireless charger will. Unless your case says it is MagSafe compatible.

On the Piccadilly gear4 box it states: “wireless charging compatible” but it doesn’t specify MagSafe. Must it specify MagSafe?

It must be specifically MagSafe compatible to work with the MagSafe adapter. You can use any Qi compatible charger.
