My Imac - Model 2020 27‘‘
Bought end november 2020
after installing OS big sur before I turn it off the screen turns into two halves - light grey and dark grey.
Anybody else experiences this?

It looks like you're seeing an issue with your display. We can understand wanting to look into that further. We want to help.

This may help with your issue. Try logging off and logging in to see if that does it for you. ha d problem after update to Big Sur 14.1 on my shut down screen, appeared scattered grey and white speckled instead of blank screen. has been fine for two days.

I had a chat with apple and they recommended me that solution too.
It helped for a while and yesterday when I turned the computer off it did happen again.
I feel this is not hardware related as it occurs irregularly. The more I read about the Big Sur Update I think this might be an issue with this new OS.
