Transfer pictures from iPhone 6s to Tashiba laptop running windows 7.

I have a laptop running windows 7, and an iPhone 6s with over 9,000 pictures on it. I want to transfer the pictures from the iPhone to the laptop. Evan with allowing the computer to accept the phone and the phone to accept the computer, the transfer from phone to computer does not happen. How can I get this done?

I would appreciate any help I can get.
