Apple watch charging issues

Hello, I wonder what seems to be the problem with my apple watch. I need to put the watch on airplane mode for it to increase battery percentage. There were also times where the percentage is decreasing instead of increasing while charging. Do i need to use a higher watts adapter? I am using the 1st gen watch.

battery life suddenly short after watch OS 9.2 Update (automatically) to Watch OS 9.2 on 12/17/22. Since I have had the watch, ALWAYS had at least 36 hours of battery life. since Update, can’t even get 12 without low battery. anyone else have this problem, or a solution?

Sounds like your battery is reaching the end of it's life,all those symptoms you mention point to this.
