I read a little earlier about people having a red light at the top right above their phone. Does anyone else notice, somewhat recently for me, a green or orange light on their phone? Does anyone know what that means?

One is for the camera and the other is for the microphone.
It means that an app is using it.
Green is when face cam is activated while orange is when the mic is activated. :-)
