Connecting activity app on watch to iPhone activity app

I have been trying to get my Apple Watch activity app to sync to the iPhone activity app for ages... I have tried everything airplane mode, tried turning all the settings off and back on. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Apple Watch Series 3, watchOS 7

Try unpairing and re-pairing,you might have to setup as new.
