Hello, I have an iMac Mid 2010 macOS High Sierra. on iMac, mail cant be sent because mailbox acc does not have a preferred outgoing mail server.

My Mail app in my imac osx Monterrey does not connect with my server for more than a few months my mail app in my i mac os monterey does not connect with my server. I rang my server & they said that I should log into my web mail to access my e-mails. Before I could launch my mail app & access my talk talk mail & my google mail. I can get my google mail but not my talk talk mail. for this I have to access the webmail to get my e-mails from my talk talk account. can somebody please help me with this issue ?

Mail>Preferences>Accounts>click that account>Server Settings tab>Outgoing <ail Account dropdown>Edit SMTP list?little plus icon.
