How does do not disturb work? When I use do not disturb on my iPhone, I receive no notifications from any contacts. On iPad, I still receive notifications! Is this how it’s supposed to be? I just got this iPad last week, and I’ve never owned an iPad before.

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today. It sounds like your iPad isn't using Do Not Disturb as you're expecting.
Have a look at this page: Set Do Not Disturb on iPad. Is it possible some contacts are being allowed through?
