Hello Ahmed_Eltantawy,

It sounds as though you're having issues updating to macOS 11.1. When the update fails are you getting an error message? If so, what error message are you seeing? Also, when updating are you following the steps in How to update the software on your Mac? If not, try the steps outlined there.

If you're following those steps, and still having issues updating you'll want to delete any install for macOS 11.1 that may currently be downloaded. You can find this installer in Finder > Applications, and delete by dragging and dropping the installer to the trash can. You'll want to then open the Trash, and empty it to confirm the installer has been removed, then attempt to update again.

Have a great day!

Hello Ahmed_Eltantawy,

We're glad you had the opportunity to try that step. With the prompt that's showing let's make sure that you don't have any external devices connected such as a USB drive or external hard drive. If the issue continues with those disconnected or you don't have any devices connected try updating via a new user account on the Mac. You can find the steps for creating a new user account in the following article.

Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac

If that doesn't resolve the issue would you be able to try updating using a different internet connection? If not, try updating using a different internet connection.

You may also want to repair the disk or run first aid on your Mac. You can find those steps in the following article.

Have a good week.
