eq settings not sticking in garageband

I can change the settings, but they do not stay set the way I set them. Is there something I need to do besides just moving them? GarageBand 10.4.2

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 11.1

From here we'd recommend reaching out to Apple Support directly at this link here for additional troubleshooting: Get Support - Apple

From that link you'll want to choose Music, Apps & Services > Mac apps > GarageBand > Issue with built-in audio. From there you should see a few options to reach out, depending on your location.

I have a track. I adjust the settings on the eq as it plays. When I stop and then start the playback again the settings reset themselves. They do not “stick” to what I set them at.

To get started, are you having issues with the EQ settings resetting after closing and reopening GarageBand, or are the settings changing immediately after activating/deactivating the EQ settings?

If having issues with the settings changing after closing and reopening GarageBand, did you save the custom settings using the steps listed in the following resource under, "Change EQ Settings": Use the EQ effect in GarageBand on Mac
