Accidentally deleted An APP

I accidentally deleted an app from my home page on my iPhone. I tried to get it back by going to the APP store clicking my photo and clicking purchased to see all my Apps. I find it there and I have the ability to open it but not bring it back to my home page with all my Apps

If it says Open in the App Store, that indicates that it is still installed on your device. With iOS 14, go to the App Library (swipe left past your last home screen). From there you can touch and hold an app and slide it left back to the home screen.
