My device won't slide open, I tried to turn it on, but it is stuck on the slide to power off. It is as if my fingers aren't recognized when I attempt to swipe up or left/right. How do I fix this since I can't access my phone desktop.

Yes there is a cancel button, but my main issue is the phone doesn’t respond to any touch features. I couldn’t swipe up for the facial recognition to kick in. So I tried to “reboot” aka restart the device, but in this case it won’t allow me to shut down the device.
