What color is side button for ringer when it is off? Is it still orange?

Ringer off button. How to rell if it’s on or off I want to be able to tell whether the ringer button on the side of the phone is on or off without having to look at it. For one thing, the red mark small and hard to see. Also tou cant see it in a darkened room. Is there an icon on the screen somewhere or in settings that shows status?

Loose ringer on/off switch iPhone SE Just creating another post on this since some others have expired. Loose, wobbly ringer on/off button on iPhone SE. Ringer will turn off with the gentlest motion, like say, putting the phone in a pocket. (!) unintentionally disabling a phone's ringer is a very unfortunate problem. Has anyone found a fix to this? We just sent the SE back to Apple for replacement. Seems like a manufacturing issue. Is Apple addressing this?

The orange only is visible when in silent mode. See: How to put your iPhone on vibrate, ring, or silent mode - Apple Support

if you flip the switch so that 'silent mode' is turned ON, the switch position should show red/orange.
