Power cord

I need new power cord for 2009 MacBook Pro. Does the 60W cord work or do I need a different cord?

The 2009 MacBook Pro uses a MagSafe power adapter and the cord to that is permanently attached -- you can't buy just the cord.

The 13" models use a 60W adapter and the 15 or 17" models use and 85W adapter. See: Find the right power adapter and cable for your Mac notebook - Apple Support
