How can I change top menu bar color in Big Sur?

The top menu bar is black and there's too much black in Big Sur. How do I change this? Doing Preference, General, Light does nothing.

Howdy,

Do you have a dark Desktop Picture selected?

System Preferences > Desktop & Screen Saver > Desktop

If you have a dark image selected and a transparent menu bar, it will also be dark.

For a whiter Menu Bar use: System Preferences > Accessibility > Display [left sidebar] > Display [top tab] > [ √ ] Reduce transparency
