I removed a few apps from my home screen but now I want them back. I have tried everything and cannot understand why its such a nightmare of a task to work out how to get them back. Please help

Yes, it is very easy if you know how.
- On Home Screen, swipe left all the way till you landed on App Library page
- Touch lightly on the app’s icon you want to have on Home Screen
- A popup will appears, tap Add to Home Screen
- Repeat for all the apps you want back on Home Screen

Correct it is still on my phone, they are just not on my home screen, I cannot find a way to put them back on my home screen. You would think that this would be very simple to do but trust me, it is not.
I have my iOS 14.3 up to date. Still no way of doing it
I’ve done the same thing, accidentally removed an app from the Home Screen, but it still shows up in the Search and the App Store search. But when I swipe over to search the phone for it, I don’t get the ‘add to home screen’ option. I’m only getting ‘Share App’.
If you have deleted it, then you have to re-download from the App Store.
I haven't deleted it. I "removed from home screen". If you go to remove an app it now gives you that option. I cannot find a way to restore the app back to my home screen
If you didn't deleted them, then it is still on your iPhone.
