iTunes Match problem

I can't access iTunes match from any device. I don't have access to the old computers. How can I manage devices in iTunes Match now?

From your post, you want to know how to manage your devices without having access to the old computers. If your music was already uploading, you can associate your other devices by turning on Sync Library: Subscribe to iTunes Match


"Use iTunes Match

To access your songs and playlists on other devices, turn on Sync Library on all of your devices.

When you sign in with the Apple ID that you use with iTunes Match on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or PC, you associate that device with your account and get access to your music library.

It might take some time for iTunes Match to upload your music from your Mac or PC. If you don't see your music on another device right away, check back later. When iTunes Match is finished uploading your music library, Download  appears next to music that's been uploaded".


If you haven't uploaded any of your music, you'll need to have access to the computer that has your music library.


If this isn't the case, let us know in more detail of what you're attempting to do.

Hi, thanks for the answer.


Yes, there are several thousand music files there already. I did turn on sync on all devices, and I did associate the device to the iCloud library.


But no matter how long I wait (i've tried more than 24h), when I click on iTunes Match and choose "Add this Computer", the button turns gray, and nothing happens. Next time I click on iTunes Match, same thing happens. It seems it can't add any computers to my iTunes Match subscription. iCloud sync is fine, though. Only music that were added through iTunes Match remains missing.
